Artists Collective is a California non-profit, offering safe, reliable medical marijuana delivery to patients throughout Los Angeles county. We carry a wonderful variety of medicine cared for by our members--a veritiable "farmer's market of marijuana" conveniently delivered to your door.
Our non-profit goal is using medical marijuana proceeds (in combination with private tax-deductable donations) to fund art grants. Americans spend more than $125 billion on marijuana every year. Californians spend an estimated $2 billion on medical marijuana each year, and marijuana has now replaced wine as California's leading cash crop. By using medical marijuana proceeds to fund grants for artists, writers, performers and musicians, we're demonstrating the financial power of marijuana when directed toward socially benevolent purposes.
We continue working toward our goal of full organizational funding and plan to begin awarding grants in 2010.
In the meantime, we encourge new Federal and State laws that (a) require cannabis clubs be locally owned and (b) all cannabis clubs be affiliated with a Federally recognized non-profit and (c) a significant percentage of annual profits be dedicated toward helping fund that non-profit charity.
We think we have a good idea: Come enjoy the convenience of home delivery, good medicine, a knowledgable and friendly staff + support an excellent baby non-profit.
